2009 began Mina’s life as a DJ. Though still relatively fresh on the DJ scene, she has nonetheless managed a rather rapid growth in her career. Her weapons of choice: an unconventional zeal and a natural sense for music.
Much of her experience comes from her appearances throughout a range of All-Mix clubs in Tokyo, including producing weekend events at one of the most well-established clubs, the Nishiazabu 3.2.8. In Summer of 2010, she set off on her own to America to further hone her skills as a DJ.
She obtained an American Artist Visa at an exceptionally quick speed, and centered her career in Manhattan, extending her performances to clubs and lounges in Brooklyn and Queens as well.
After receiving much praise for her appearance an outdoors Central Park event, she managed to break into the world of popular DJs where she could gain offers to perform private parties for movie releases and fashion events, famous companies and celebs, being picked up by various local media.
Having made an appearance in Ibiza (Spain) in July of 2012 as well, DJ Mina is a Japanese female DJ who is even flourishing overseas.
