Lenaによるソロユニット。
齋藤久師をプロデューサーに、13年結成。
アナログ・シンセサイザー、モジュラーを巧みに使いこなす、「完全即興」スタイル。
結成直後、リキッドルームで開催された、「HOUSE OF LIQUIDOMMUNE」に出演し、
聴衆～フロアを狂乱へと誘った。
同年10月にはDOMMUNE“KANDAINDUSTRIAL”SILENT MODULAR WARS!!に出演。
NINA KRAVIZ / DANIEL MILLER / Oval / DJ NOBU /MOODMAN / 冨田勲氏 / MERZBOW /
石野卓球 / KEN ISHII / 森本晃司等と共演を重ねる。
2016年02月には、インド・ムンバイにて開催された文化庁海外メディア芸術祭等参加事業
「The Medium as Somatic Impulse ―身体的衝動としてのメディウム」
に参加するなど、メディアアート・シーンにも進出。
多方面に活躍のフィールドを広げている。
2016年8⽉、デジタル・フォーマットにてリリースされた記念すべき1st.アルバム
『hertz』(Detroit Underground)は、発表されるや否や、
カール・ハイド(Underworld)やクリス・カーター(スロッピング・グリュッスル)を始めとする
世界の名だたるアーティストたちから賞賛を得た。
同年12⽉には、TDMEで⾏われたBoiler Roomに出演。
その後国内のライブを重ねながら、2017年3⽉は⾹港、7⽉はバルセロナ、マドリード、ロンドン公演を⼤成功に収め、
11⽉にはオーストラリアツアーが決定するなど、世界が注⽬するアーティストである。

Formed in 2013, galcid is a project featuring lena who know her way around synthesizers produced by legendary synthesist, Hisashi Saito.

6 months after the formation, galcid performed at the House of Liquidommune countdown party at Liquid Room, organized by Dommune (www.dommune.com) creator Naohiro Ukawa. The excellent reception they received at this event earned them a performance at another Dommune event, Kandaindustrial [Silent Modular Wars], where they performed alongside Daniel Miller, Isao Tomita, Merzbow, Nina Kraviz, Oval, Moodman, and DJ Nobu.
These performances led to even more appearances at various events including the Taiwan art festival, the Grateful Beer Live Festival15 with Takkyu Ishino, Ken Ishii, and Koji Morimoto.
In February 2016, galcid was invited to Mumbai, India for a Media Art Festival called The Medium as Somatic Impulse, held by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
galcid continue to break new ground moving forward by performing at an ever expanding range of venues and events.
The memorable 1st album“hertz”in digital format, released upon in worldwide from Detroit Underground, attracted Karl Hyde (Underworld), Chris Carter (Throbbing Gristle) and other well-known musician all over the world.
Also, galcid played at Boiler Room TOKYO in TDME(Tokyo Dance Music Event).
Boiler Room reported that it was more than 360,000 view (only for galcid),
and more than 500 shares(Facebook only). It was really huge and sensational performance.
In March 2017, she has succeed the first Asia tour in Hong Kong.
In July 2017, she has succeed the first EU tour in Balcerona, London, and Madrid.
