モニーク・ディへイニーク、ジャマイカ生まれのシンガー。2008年に東京の音楽シーンで活動を開始。以来、現在までに自身のライブを初めとして、結婚式でのウェディング・シンガー、ホテルのジャズ・シンガー、CM歌手、中島美嘉、EXILEのATSUSHI、矢沢永吉などのアーティストのバックシンガーを努めるなど、歌手として様々な仕事に従事してきた。
好きな音楽ジャンルはジャズ、レゲエ、ディスコ、ソウル、R&B。
尊敬するアーティストはボブ・マーリー、ニーナ・シモン、ドナ・サマー、エラ・フィッツジェラルド、アンジェリーク・キジョー、ホイットニー・ヒューストン、マライア・キャリー、ローリン・ヒル、クリセット・ミッシェル、フェラ・クティ、久保田利伸、ウルフルズ。
モニークはメロディアスなメゾソプラノで人々を感動させられるような力強い女性シンガーとしての地位を確立したいと思っている。
幼い頃に両親から歌うことの楽しさを教えられ、以来、歌を愛する気持ちを強く保ち続けて現在まで音楽と共に生きてきた。
モニークのジャズソウル的なヴォーカルは、彼女のバックグラウンドであるダンスホール・レゲエと融合して、他のシンガーたちとは違う独特な雰囲気を醸し出している。
2014年２月11日にモニークはついに日本でメジャーデビューを果たす。デビューアルバムは日本の有名なラブバラードをカバーした『LOVE SONG〜Sweet J-Ballads』。このアルバムはモニークのファンはもとより、日本の芸能界からも注目を集めた。『AERA』、『日刊スポーツ』などで特集され、モニークは『めざましテレビ』（フジテレビ）への出演を始めとして、東京FM、FM横浜、J-WAVEなどの在京FMラジオ局の数多くの番組に出演、人気のTBSラジオの『大沢悠里のゆうゆうワイド』にも出演した。

Some of her favorite artistes include, Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Donna Summer, Ella Fitzgerald, Angelique Kidjo, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Chrisette Michelle, Fela Kuti, Toshinobu Kubota and Urufuls. Monique hopes to establish herself as a strong female performer with the potential to move audiences with her melodious mezzo voice. Her love of singing and performing, cultivated at a very early age by her parents, keeps her motivated and headstrong as she continues her musical journey.
Monique’s jazzy-soulful tone is infused with a dancehall reggae background, which distinguishes her voice from her contemporaries. On February 12, 2014 she finally had her major debut in Japan when she released an entire album covering famous Japanese love ballads. The album entitled 'Love Songs: Sweet J Ballads' has gotten so much attention from Monique's fans and the Japan entertainment world. She has been featured on Mezamashi TV, Aera Magazine, Nikkan Sports and many radio shows including Tokyo FM, FM Yokohama, J-Wave and popular radio show YU-YU Wide with Ozawa Yuri.
