JAXX started off his music career back in the 90’s when all the DISCO hits and trendy POP took care of every radio station, and now represents UK’s No.1 brand Ministry of Sound as the first Asian DJ in its history.
His smashed with a broken beat track “Why Won’t You Be With Me” on Amsterdam based GLOWINTHEDARK’s label LIGHTSTATE and the release went up to No.7 on Beatport Hip Hop Chart with amazing remixes by T3NBEARS [Spinnin’], His Majesty Andre [Southern Fried] and Elisa Bee [Dim Mak]. Without reducing the pace “Keeps Me Going” with a soulful vocal plus heavy brass trap bass was supported by many Bass Music producers and remixed by Retrohandz [Dim Mak], Mace [Main Course] and Ceri.
After breaking into European market, his big collaboration project with Daddy’s Groove featuring $andhiv “I Stay True” was dropped on Kryder’s [Sosumi Records] and reached No.4 on The Most Played Track Chart [1001tracklists].
These tracks put him into a different work situation and started playing with many of his favorite DJs/ producers and at many different cities overseas. “One of the memorable gigs was Monsterland in Milan [Italy] in 2015 with thousands of people.” he follows.
Producing multiple genres with the bass is his style, and finally American market found him through one of the biggest music blogs Insomniac featured his new Bass track “LE LE”. After the exposure, GLOWINTHEDARK fell in love with track with Talitha Tan “Something Good” and MAIN COURSE released his original with Wongo [Dim Mak] called “Feelin’” and his remix of Bot’s famous “Monky Man”.
“A few more releases coming up in 2016.” he says. Let’s see how JAXX DA FISHWORKS catches a bright and amazing future with his sound!
