Since 1998, Lead has experienced a variety of opportunities throughout his career as a DJ in Japan. In 2008, he joined the New York based Hip-Hop DJ crew, The Heavy Hitters who are considered to be one of the most respectable and influential DJ crews in New York.
In 2013, Lead began hosting his own weekly program called “International Hour” making him the first foreign DJ on HOT 97 FM, the most demanded radio station in the home of Hip-Hop, New York City.
He has also collaborated with a variety of international and local artists such as “Jim Jones & AI” and “Maino & Anarchy” creating many local smash hits including the song “Live My Dreams” which went to the top of Japanese iTunes charts beating Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj for six weeks straight. Lead also regularly releases mix tapes from major labels including his Def Jam 30th Anniversary Mix which made him one of the most influential DJs in Japan.
