今やナイトクラブシーンの枠を超え、オーバーグラウンドな舞台での活躍に注目が集まるほど有名になりつつある。
そして、現在もDJ活動の幅を全国にまで拡大している最中である。
とにかくダンスミュージックが大好きで、その素晴らしさを多くの人に伝えたいと思い、現役DJが音楽情報を発信するというコンセプトのもと、ダンスミュージック情報メディア「DJ HACKs」を2014年5月に立ち上げた。
月間70万PVを超える音楽メディアにまで大きく成長したDJ HACKsとともに、ダンスミュージックシーンにおける今後の活動展開に目が離せないDJだ。

BiographyHaving supported the Japan tours of The Chainsmokers, Oliver Heldens and ZEDD, SHOTA is the No. 1 most highly anticipatedrising star. He has played at major events including EDC, electrox, and POPSPRING.SHOTA is a 26 years-old professional DJ based in Tokyo. With an open-format style founded on connecting “good music” across genres from EDM to HIPHOP, he values having a sense of unity with the audience when playing. For “EDM WARZ” in November 2015, he played as an opening act for the foreign artist SCNDL at WOMB in Shibuya. As for his regular appearances, he plays at “SUPER TUESDAY” held every Tuesday at T2 in Shibuya, Tokyo, which allows him to enhance his night club “crowd control” techniques.By appearing at “electric zoo Beach TOKYO”, one of the biggest EDM festivals that was held in Japan for the first time in May 2015, he has succeededin gaining fame within the music festival scene that dance music fans are particularly drawn towards.He continues to expand his DJ career while attracting attention for his mainstream success that goes beyond the frame of the night clubbing scene. Wanting to spread the appeal of his beloved dance music, he founded the dance music information website “DJ HACKs” in May 2014, with the concept of active DJs distributing music information. With DJ Hacks now having grown to be a music website with 700,000 page views a month, we can’t take our eyes off of how he will continue to develop within the dance music scene in the future.
