９１年に渡米、N.Y.を拠点にDJを開始。
同時期に渡米していたBUDDHA BRANDと活動を共にし、N.Y.大箱クラブをDJとして渡り歩き、着実にHIP HOP DJとしてのスキルを磨き上げて行く。
９５年、BUDDHA BRANDの帰国と共に活動拠点を日本に置き、老舗クラブとして知られていたCAVE、TERMINALにてレギュラーDJとして活動し、本場仕込みの段違いスキルで多数の集客を収める。
９７〜２００３年７月にはN.Y.時代から活動を共にしているDJ MASTERKEYと渋谷CLUB HARLEMにて伝説のスーパーイベントDADDY’S HOUSEを立ち上げ、HIP HOP DJのみならず様々なジャンルのDJから常に注目されている。そして、それまでは定着していなかったHIP HOPの現場でのREGGAE（今ではあたりまえだが）を定着させ、現在のシーンを作り上げた第一人者といっても過言では無い！！数々のMIX TAPEも発表しており、あのMASTERPIECE SOUNDとのコラボレーションでREGGAE MIX CD１〜３、SWEETSを発表。05年には、現在全米で飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いのREGGAETONをイチ早く取り入れたDJスタイルを確立し、MIX CD「ENTER THE REGGAETON」を発表。常にパイオニアとしてシーンを引っ張っている。また、NY仕込みのマイクパフォーマンスも、卓越したDJプレイをさらに盛り 上げており、「飲むならテキ〜ラ！！」の決めゼリフ等、オーディエンスとDJとの一体感を図る演出も人気を呼んでいる。
また、０１年、盟友 DJ MASTERKEYと共に、レーベル『THE LIFE ENTERTAINMENT』を立ち上げており、DJ MASTERKEYの作品にPRODUCERとして参加し、DJとしてのスタンスだけでなく、サウンドアレンジャーとしてのスキルも内外に見せつけた。
現在もDJ MASTERKEY作品に参加の他、CHRIS(THE LIFE ENT./AVEX)のアルバムにも楽曲を提供。そして今回はユニバーサル ミュージックより「STRET VIBES mixed by DJ YUKIJIRUSHI」で遂にメジャーでビューを果たす！！今後も自身のオリジナル作品制作も展開していく予定であり、最も目がはなせないDJである。
